At the age of 16, Erlo Hartwig Stegen felt a calling to peach to the Zulus and tell them about salvation through Jesus Christ.

But after 12 years on the mission field, with scarcely anything to show for it, he was ready to give it all up. Then God stepped in and fulfilled the promise He made in John 7:38, "Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water." In December 1966 God came down in revival power on Erlo and a small group of Christians in Maphumulo, South Africa. The events of Erlo Stegen's life since 1966 bear witness to this event.

God has guarded, maintained, and grown the work of revival that He started. Rivers of living water continue to flow in South Africa and across the world.

... our dearly loved brother, faithful minister, and fellow bondservant in the Lord...

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe."
Ephesians 1:17-19
