Heritage Day
Heritage is what is deeply imbedded in a nation, like the African sun and the vast wildlife. It is a celebration of the past, present and future of a people.
Our heritage day was a celebration and a commemoration of culture at its best, with over 6 cultures represented, the evening was filled with an array of African history and etiquette, a sprinkling of Belgian mannerisms, Indian cuisine, Tsonga attire, the power of the Xhosa , and the Boer spirit of Africa. Each culture represented had its own unique characteristics and traditional qualities that were demonstrated in speech, song, dance and an array of cultural dishes. The evening was ended with a majestic rendition of the National Anthem as a vote of gratitude to God who can truly unite nations and change generations.
